FAILURE MODE AND EFFECTS ANALYSIS OF PLASTICS INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE USING FUZZY TOPSIS METHOD BASED ON ENTROPY WEIGHT

The aim of this paper is to identify and prioritize potensial failure modes of Plastic Injection Molding Machine by using a modified Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The modified FMEA is developed to overcome the limitations and to improve the performance of the conventional FMEA. A modified FMEA combining Entropy weight with fuzzy logic and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (Fuzzy TOPSIS) methods, is proposed in this paper. The Entropy weight is applied to determine the objective weights of the three risk factors of failure modes : severity, occurrence and detection. Fuzzy TOPSIS is used to rank the risk of failure modes and the method is applied because of its ability to deal with imprecision and vagueness in the evaluation process. The study has identified nine failures of an injection molding machine which is used for production in a plastics manufacturing company. The findings showed that the risk factor occurrence has the highest objective weight with weight of 0.384 followed by severity with weight of 0.315 and detection with weight of 0.300. The result also showed that the damage of the hopper seal has the highest priority risk among the nine failures identified.
THE DESIGN OF AUTOMATIC SUMMARIZATION OF INDONESIAN TEXTS USING A HYBRID APPROACH

This study aims to design a model for automatic text summarization in Indonesian. Automatic text summarization is a system that reduces the number of sentences, without losing important information in the document. There are 3 approaches in making automatic text summarization, namely: extractive, abstractive and hybrid. The extractive approach is to select a core sentence without changing it to a new sentence. The abstractive approach is to construct new sentences that describe the contents of the document. Meanwhile, the hybrid approach designed in this study is a combination of extractive and abstractive approaches. By designing automatic text summarization in Indonesian with a hybrid approach, it is hoped that the results issued by the system will be more like man-made summaries and have a higher readability. The design made is specifically for the input of a document. The stages of automatic text summarization are divided into 2, namely preprocessing and process. In the Preprocessing stage, sentence separation, tokenization, coreference resolution, stop words removal, feature extraction are carried out. There are two stages of making the summary, namely the extraction stage, to select important sentences and the abstraction stage, to select words and arrange them into summary sentences. Further research can be carried out for input of longer documents and the input is in the form of multi documents.

This paper will analyze the extent of predictions to what extent the disruption predicted by Christensen has influenced the dynamics of universities in Indonesia and whether we have readiness in facing the disruption era and what strategies need to be taken so that universities can survive and carry out their role as important educational institutions in National development. The method used in this study is to study literature and collect quantitative data from various official sources including official reports from the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Technology and Higher Education and then process the data. The result of the study shows that disruptive technology has a negative impact only on learning institutions closely related to specific professions. However, the impact not so much shown in general.

Fenomena sosiodemografi pola bermain anak menunjukkan bahwa generasi anak saat ini masih kurang memiliki kesempatan untuk mengembangkan pola bermain kreatif, eksploratif, dan kooperatif yang melibatkan teman bermain. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya ketersediaan ruang ramah anak dan tidak adanya transfer pengetahuan mengenai pola bermain dari orang tua kepada generasi saat ini. Pada beberapa kasus permukiman perkotaan, kita masih bisa melihat fenomena yang menunjukkan peluang anak melakukan aktivitas bermain yang positif secara berkelompok dan mampu menemukan kreativitasnya. Beberapa lokasi bahkan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak masih memainkan permainan tradisional. Hipotesis awal mengarahkan peneliti pada dugaan bahwa fenomena ini muncul dalam kasus permukiman terencana dan tidak terencana di daerah perkotaan yang tumbuh berdampingan di mana terdapat adanya ruang campuran atau hamparan ruang yang tidak disengaja. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola spasial yang terjadi akibat percampuran tipe permukiman untuk membuktikan hipotesis tersebut.

Usaha pemerintah dalam menyelamatkan terumbu karang adalah melakukan konservasi terumbu karang. Salah Bentuk konversi terumbu karang dilakukan pada lokasi pantai di Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan dilakukan di pantai tangkolak, Karawang Jawa Barat. Desa Tangkolak merupakan sebuah wilayah yang memiliki pantai dengan keanekaragaman terumbu karang. Akan tetapi, kurangnya pengetahuan akan pentingnya terumbu karang menjadi faktor utama, tidaknya adanya usaha tersebut untuk dilakukan khususnya untuk kegiatan konservasi. Bentuk solusi yang dapat diterapkan adalah dengan melakukan kolaborasi antara konservasi penanaman bibit terumbu karang melalui donasi online dengan objek wisata yang sudah ada di Desa Tangkolak. Hal ini dimaksudkan dengan tujuan bahwa konservasi terumbu karang dapat menjadi salah satu pendukung objek wisata yang ada. Dengan demikian maka kesadaran masyarakat akan semakin meningkat dengan mamfaat yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan konservasi tersebut. Adanya penerapan konservasi pada pantai di desa tangkolak, menjadi contoh bagi daerah lainnya untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan hal yang sama, dalam menjaga dan melestarikan terumbu karang di Indonesia.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF BINARY ROBUST INVARIANT SCALABLE KEYPOINTS (BRISK) ON LOW POWER SINGLE BOARD COMPUTER

In this paper, performance evaluation of Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints (BRISK) on low power Single Board Computer is presented. BRISK is a method that can be used as an interest point detection in image stitching applications, the BRISK method can be divided into three steps: keypoints detection, keypoints description, and descriptors matching. These stages are executed sequentially. The experimental results show that BRISK can run on low power Single Board Computers based on x86 or ARM architecture. Based on the tests performed, the BRISK performance on ARM Single Board Computer and x86 Single Board Computer is directly proportional to image resolution and the time required. Notable time acceleration has been reached. However, BRISK algorithm on x86 Single Board Computer BRISK is much faster than the ARM Single Board Computer for all test images. One of the test results shows in the test image that both 320x320 pixels require 1062810 ?s on the x86 Single Board Computer meanwhile, on the ARM Single Board Computer the time is 1572154?s. Future research direction will study another factor for BRISK performance. This initial analysis can provide an overview for developers or researchers for making decisions in implementing applications using the BRISK on Single Board Computer.

The Grade Point Average (GPA) for a tertiary institution is one of the elements used to measure the quality of teaching and learning. In the Department of Computer Systems, Universitas Komputer Indonesia, there are many students who have bachelor's degrees, but there are still many students who do not graduate on time with unsatisfactory GPA. By utilizing the pile of academic data from students who have graduated, modelling the data mining technique using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method with the backpropagation algorithm can be done. The purpose of this study is to test the ANN modelling with backpropagation algorithm in making a student's Grade Point Average (GPA) prediction information system. The student GPA prediction system is used as a supporting material for the academic advisor to provide evaluation guidance to students who are considered to have academic problems. The parameter attributes used in this study included Grade Point Semester (GPS) one to four as well as several course scores as data input and GPA as an output data. The test was carried out in four scenarios, where the best results of ANN were obtained in scenario-IV with the parameters of the number of input layer neurons 18, the number of hidden layer neurons 24, the number of output layer neurons 1, learning rate (?) 0.15, 2000 iterations (epoch) and 591 data sets. The data is divided into 85% data set for training data as well as 15% data set for test data. The average accuracy obtained from this information system is 97.2%. It is expected that this study can be used as a reference for designing a data mining architecture model using the ANN Backpropagation algorithm in creating values prediction information system.

This study aims to analyze the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in supporting the management of food supply chains (FSCs) in the food industry. This research used qualitative research methods. The results obtained from this study are increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing food supply chain in the food industry by applying the IoT concept to food supply chain management. These results can be obtained because the IoT concept is supported by various systems and technologies that can be implemented and developed so that IoT can help identify and deal with existing problems more quickly while being able to assist in the decision-making process with information obtained through IoT technology so that it will support development food supply chain management in the food industry. This study was conducted to see how much influence the internet of things (IoT) has on food supply chain management in the food industry.
