Assessment Of Lecturer Satisfaction, Working Quality And Productivity Toward Learning Management System

Abstrak
The purpose of this research is to assess the lecturer satisfaction, working quality, and productivity toward Learning Management System (LMS) and to know the extent the effectiveness of LMS for the lecturers. The study case was conducted in a Private University in Bandung. This research used quantitative method by performing study case in a private university in Bandung. Path Analysis and T test and F test were used to analyze the questionnaire data. The respondents were 185 lecturers and were requested to filled up the questionnaire. Interview to entrepreneurship lecturers was also performed to support the data analysis. The result of this study found that LMS influence job satisfaction through work productivity and work quality improvement. It is shown by significant value of all measured variables the working quality, productivity, and satisfaction of lecturers. The positive correlation between all variables and significance influence explained that the lecturers viewed LMS as an effective tool in learning and teaching process. Since LMS makes the easier procedure of assignment submission, scoring process, and communication between lecturers and students, it was assessed as an effective tool. The research provides recommendation to develop LMS and shifting from the conventional system as one way to answer the challenge of digital environment.

Computerized Entrepreneurship Education

Abstrak
Social and economic gap remain a crucial issue in Indonesia related to the level of poverty. This research focuses on analyzing how computerized entrepreneurship education can help reduce poverty in terms of improving quality of life. Studies on quality of life need to be performed in this study considering that most of the previous studies highlight unemployment and income levels as indicators of poverty, without relating it to the quality of life. In addition computerized business now has become a new trend for income generating activities. Quantitative methods were used in the research by applying Man Whitney analysis to compare quality of life between two groups of respondents. WHOQOL-BREF is used as the research instrument and was distributed to group 1 consisting of respondents who had been given computerized entrepreneurship education and group 2 consisting of respondents who were not given entrepreneurship education. Research findings indicates that computerized entrepreneurship education can help reduce poverty through significant improving in the quality of life. Entrepreneurship creates positive change which ultimately bring huge effect on human wellbeing. The research contributes to enhance our knowledge about computerized entrepreneurship education as a pathway to reduce poverty.

Internet Of Things For Flood And Landslide Early Warning

Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to improve the use of technology for the occurrence of a disaster as a form of anticipation in a disaster-prone area and tourist area. The method used in this research was a descriptive research method where the data obtained from events that occur in a particular region. The results of this study indicate that technological innovation is needed to monitor floods and landslides because based on the data from National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) on the occurrence of disasters in Indonesia. There are still many areas that prone to natural disasters especially floods and landslides. The important role of the technology is to increase the level of confidence and security of tourists towards the potential for a disaster that occurs and can improve the tourism industry economy.

Application Of Hec-Ras Technology To Irrigation And Water Building In Agricultural Businesses

Abstrak
This study aims to help irrigate agricultural land using technology. This writing used descriptive method by analyzing the use of an irrigation system, which makes it easier for agricultural landowners in the irrigation process of the land. The results of this paper are building technology irrgation is suitable for irrigation needs of an agricultural land. After getting a survey directly from the location of the study and interviewing several local farmers, with the existence of irrigation channels and water structures, the water needs of a land can be easily fulfilled. The income from the land is increasing little by little, so that land owners have no more trouble getting water to meet their land needs. Therefore, it can be concluded that using this system technology can help design the flow of water on irrigation channels that function to irrigate agricultural land to meet their needs. So that the fulfilment of agricultural land water needs through irrigation can increase the income of the economy in that area.

Build A Microcontroller Based Interactive Module As A Learning Medium In Vocational Secondary Schools

Abstrak
The purpose of this research is to build an interactive and complete module to be used as a learning medium at the vocational secondary school level. The prototype method is one of the ways that can be used to build microcontroller modules to suit your needs. The prototype methods include communication, planning, modeling, construction, and development. Microcontrollers are one of the learning media that has a high level of difficulty in understanding each device's usage. The trainer module that has been circulating in the market and the students are still not complete and not interactive. During this time, the microcontroller module used focuses on the creation of microcontroller trainer modules using dot matrix, keypad, LCD, digital I/O, and traffic light. In building a complete and interactive microcontroller module, it takes an appropriate method to construct it. Meanwhile, the media needs learning with the development of technology requires a more complete module in addition to the components that are already used in general. In the design of an interactive module, the microcontroller used to have more complete devices including additions to servo motors, potentiometer, temperature sensors, proximity sensors, DC motors, and the addition of WiFi modules as a complete facility of interactive microcontroller modules. The results showed that the features offered had a 50% more complete compared to previous microcontroller modules, and more interactive could use WiFi networks. With the more complete a microcontroller module, it can be easier for students to understand each implementation and can improve the competency of the students in the use of microcontrollers.

Design Of Information System Vehicle Rental Based Web

Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to facilitate vehicle rental transactions between vehicle owners and tenants to make it easier for tenants to choose a vehicle that matches their needs such as engine capacity, number of seats, and so on. That way the tenant does not need to be bothered to come to the rental vehicle to minimize time. The method of this study used descriptive method where the writer conducts interviews directly with the owner who also rents the vehicle at SINAR XBZ to be used in case studies in this research. The results of this study are expected to create a vehicle rental website that can increase the attractiveness of consumers to rent vehicles quickly and reliably. Besides, it is expected that this website can make it easier for both vehicle rental owners and tenants so that the income from the vehicle rental can increase.
