Development Of Design System For Software Engineering Laboratory (Case Study In Unikom Codelabs Laboratory)

Abstrak
Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) has various tools to support its administrative activities. Each existing system has multiple characteristics and behaviors. In terms of design aspects, it still follows the standards of each developer team because there is no designer team for making the system design. Thus, the existing system in UNIKOM does not have a consistent design identity. Therefore, the developer team need a design framework to help developers speed up the user interface design process. The design system is a design framework that can help speed up and simplify the design and development process in achieving product goals by providing a code library, UI library, and style guide. This research methodology refers to the Atomic Design method for building the system design. This research result is a documentation system design as a guide in designing the user interface in the CodeLabs laboratory. The average performance value that meets the test objectives is obtained based on the resulting system design test results. The average weight of completing the task is 95%, and it has passed the target test objective of 80%. In addition, the average time required to complete all tasks is reduced. Thus, it can be concluded that using a design system can accelerate and facilitate designers in designing software.

Antam Gold Price Changes Prediction Using The Knearest Neighbor And Method Naive Bayes Algorithm

Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to predict the increase in gold prices which can help investors to decide when to buy gold at the right time. Where Gold is one of the most sought after commodities for investment purposes. In addition, gold is used in some countries as a financial or economic standard, foreign exchange reserves, and most importantly, a means of payment. In addition, investors usually buy gold as a hedge or safe haven against various crises including economic, political, social or currency crises. The development of gold stock prices forced investors to take quick decisions to buy shares in the gold commodity. In predicting Antam's gold price, researchers used two methods to compare it, namely the K-NN method and the Naive Bayes algorithm. The results of the test using Antam's gold price prediction data in 2005 - 2021 with a frequency of changes per day with 534 training data and 229 test data, the recall value obtained is 0.707% for K-NN and 0.576 for Naive. Bayes. The expected impact of this research is that investors can know / predict when Antam's gold price will go up or down, so it can help investors to decide when to buy or sell Antam's gold at the right time.
