Critical Factors In The Development Of Sustainable Food Packaging

The purpose of this research is to reduce the accumulation of food packaging waste that is difficult to recycle. The method in this study used a survey of 20 types of food packaging. Collecting data by identifying some of these food product packaging. The results showed that eco label packaging products type one to type three and non-eco label packaging were available in one supermarket in Bandung. This can indicate that the packaging of food products results in excessive waste accumulation if they do not use environmentally friendly packaging. The results of this study indicate that some of the packaging of food products circulating in Indonesia already use environmentally friendly packaging.
