TELECONFERENCING APPLICATION ON ONLINE LEARNING IN COLLEGE

The purpose of this study was to analyze how effective the use of teleconferencing applications used during lectures by students in college. The method used is quantitatively descriptive with the survey approach. Technical analysis of the data used in this study is calculating the number of respondents' answers from each statement. The results showed that students rated online learning using teleconferencing applications effective (23.3%), most of them rated ineffective (46.7%), and rated mediocre (30%). The results of this study require lecturers to be more active in updating or improving the ability to use teleconferencing applications. Not only teleconferencing applications such as zoom meeting or google meet only, but other learning media must be mastered. For example, more interactive videos, the use of more interesting images and the presentation of more contextual materials that can increase students' motivation in doing online learning.
