Technology Innovation: Business Process Reengineering and IDEF0 Model for Digital Banking in Indonesia

The important thing that happens at the moment is the presence of big changes. Disruptive innovation that is happening at this time caused a tremendous change, not least in the financial and banking sector in Indonesia. In this sector appears an innovation such as bitcoin and financial technology (Fintech). The impact of this situation has resulted in Indonesian banking inevitably have to make an innovation also by doing business process reengineering through digital banking. Innovations that are obtained in this research is service process that are performed digitally displayed through hierarchy within the framework of IDEF0 model. This research uses qualitative analysis by doing an interviews with bank for the business process that will be performed digitally. Business process of digital banking is displayed in the form of building blocks. Business process reengineering that are performed by bank through the digital banking is an innovation in the field of technology which can be displayed hierarchically through IDEF0 framework. The result from the implementation of digital banking system through IDEF0 framework is the existence of 2 digital banking system which is account opening with 4 sub-process activities and credit submission with 7 sub-process activities for digitalization on the implementation of the digital branch.
