REDESIGNING USER INTERACTION WITH NATURAL LANGUAGE INTERACTION OF UNIKOM APPS APPLICATION

Deskripsi/Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to accelerate users in getting information on the Unikom Apps application. Unikom Apps is an application developed by the Indonesian Computer University (UNIKOM) to assist students in obtaining information about lectures. The number of menus in the Unikom Apps application makes users confused to get information. Natural language interaction allows users to get information using natural language so that it can reduce the use of menus. This research was conducted to design natural language interaction on the Unikom Apps application with a Goal Directed Design (GDD) approach. Based on the test results, the average time required for users to obtain information is reduced from the previous 37.4 seconds to 8.92 seconds. So it can be concluded that natural language interaction can speed up users in getting information in the Unikom Apps application
